    • disk read error occurred Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

    I have this on my computer screen: A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.   I press those keys and the computer does not restart. It just keeps coming back to the same words Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.  It is Acer Aspire One with Windows 7.  Old, I know, but it was still useful.   What can I do to restart my computer?

      Turn it off and try to boot to safe mode pressing F8.

      By the way, i suspect an HDD issue.
      I'm not an Acer employee.

      I have the same problem with my all in one modelaz3731 press f8 nothing happens. press f10 with my first recovery disk loads files then it says starting windows and nothing happens but in a bit the screen gos black with the mouse curser and that's it. please email me I don't want to lose all of my pictures.

      o.k after windows files loaded I got the f8 key to work it loads files and is stuck on please wait
