1) Need to check RAM using Memtest86
2) Created Bootable USB
3) Acer FAILS to show USB option, both setting F12 Enabled and changing Boot Order
? Suggestions, anyone??
BTW Do "USB HDD", "USB Floppy", "USB CD/DVD" refer to "USB-Connected External [Device]"? --- or What?

You must first partition the stick in GPT partitioning scheme using Rufus. Then format the GPT partitioned USB to FAT32, also using Rufus. Jack E/NJ

Windows says USB is "FAT" (presumably FAT32 these days) & 16GB USB - so probably not GPT (all % Windows Quick Format utility)

Not sure why GPT is necessary; but after 3 attempts, finally able to create MemTest86 bootable USB

    Thanks!

That's because your UEFI bootstrapper usually only recognizes a GPT partitioned stick. It won't recognize an MBR partitioned stick unless it's been set to Legacy BIOS mode. And you don't want legacy BIOS mode because then your GPT partitioned hard drive won't be recognized.  Jack E/NJ
