Not sure if this is a hardware of software issue. Seemingly at random, the sound from the speakers starts crackling badly. So far it is always fixed by restarting. Have installed and uninstalled audio drivers multiple times.

My hope is that its only that, and not some issue that will start happening more and more often until the speakers stop working.

Similar to my issue, a distorting echo on Nitro5 speakers. But happens only when on battery and it comes and goes. A strange problem indeed.

Seems to be an online scam, as this number appears on other forums / facebook as well in different context. I would recommend everybody to check for official sources of customer support, which usually you find on the company homepages!
