Hi,
I bought spin 5 last december and it worked OK. However, from about a week ago, it suddenly fails to recognize mouse. I also found that touch screen is nor working. I checked device manager found that drivers are not installed or not properly installed for all the other devices (which include mouse and touch screen) which are listed in the device manager. Can anhyone help me clear this issue? I am currently residing in Baku, Azerbaijan and I found that Acer does not have service center here.

    Please let us know the full model number of your Spin device.
    Are you using the same factory shipped windows operating system on your device?
    Was there any windows update that was automatically installed on your computer?

    Try uninstalling Device Mgr drivers with yellow or red warnings. Exit Device Mgr. Then shutdown and cold reboot to let Windows redetect the hardware and re-install the drivers. Jack E/NJ

    >>> from about a week ago, >>>

    OK. Open Control Panel. Search "restore point". Check for an automatic Win10 update restore point with a timestamp immediately preceding the day this happened last week. Then try to restore the system to that time last week. Jack E/NJ

    Another problem! I accidently disabled the touchpad and without cursor, I do not know how to re-enable the touchpad. Can you please help me? Some suggested f6 or f7 key and I tried but it did not work on my Spin 5 model. BC

    Yes there are some windows updates but it was about one week before my mouse is being dislocated i.e. my notebook worked fine at least a week after tje windows update. My notebook model is sp513-51.

    Press and hold the Fn key on your keyboard and tap the F7 key to turn On the touchpad.
