Aspire E1-570 running on Windows 10 has lost its wireless adaptor. Re-booting does not help.

Acer provides downloads for Windows 8 but not Windows 10.  I can only connect with an ethernet cable.  Is there a downloadable wireless driver out there that I can use?

Yes, it used to work on Windows 10.  Then it became sporadic although restarting usually solved the problem.  Not so now.

Open Device Mgr. The network wifi adapter is probably has a red or yellow warning symbol. Check if there's a driver rollback option. If not, then uninstall the wifi driver. Exit Device Mgr. And cold reboot the machine to let Windows automatically re-detect and re-install the wifi driver.

@bennieida    If your wifi also previously worked with Win10, you can try the same procedure.

When I open Device Manager, the wireless adaptor isn't even listed.

OK. You must open the bottom of the laptop to access the motherboard and re-seat the wifi minicard several times to try to clean its contacts. They're probably slightly corroded or dirty. The card is located near the D-connector on the side of the laptop. If this doesn't resolve the problem, then a replacement card should be installed --- they're fairly inexpensive. Jack E/NJ
