I am having a problem with blue screen and I don't know what to do. I just want to restart everything but keep the files but it won't allow me, it always gives me the "automatic repair" but when I repair it, it keeps giving me the same issue. How do I resolve this issue?!

    @Blueberry86

    A Blue Screen of Death is usually hardware or driver related. Most BSODs show a STOP code that can be used to help figure out the root cause of the Blue Screen of Death.

    Did you just install a new program or a piece of hardware, update a driver, install a Windows update, etc.? If so, there's a very good chance that the change you made caused the BSOD.

    You may remove the hard disk and backup any important data on to another device.

    Manually shutting down (forcibly) three times in a row will bring you to the recovery screen. Try to boot into safe mode or perform a system restore to previus restore point when the device was working fine.

    Let us know the status of the issue. We will be glad to assist u further.

    This problem is caused by touchpad driver. You need to disable the touchpad driver somehow. I assume that you're going through a blue screen of death loop.

    You can try accessing safe mode and see if you are able to log in to the computer. Once if you are able to log in, you need to disable the touchpad driver somehow.
    BElieve in YOUrself.

    I'm trying to do a automatic repair on my brother's laptop and it keeps giving me "Blue Screen Loop" every time I repair it. I have used command prompt to get this issue resolved but none of it works. I have also tried to do a recovery factory but it does not work either, once I press Alt and F12 it flex off.

    Try booting in your system using safe mode.
    If that doesn't work and your data is already backed up, you can always do a clean installation.
    If there is no issue with the hardware it ll definitely solve your problem.

    Hope that helped you.

    Let's see if we can get the thread moved to one of the Windows forums instead of Chromebooks. That'll be much better to find someone with a solution. ;)

    Unfortunately I cannot do a safe mode, it keeps leading back to automatic repair every time.

    Someone told me to a get E-Recovery thumb drive for it and it will solve my problem. When my brother got his computer it was a windows 8 now it's a windows 10. I guess when you upgrade to a different operating system some of the information that couldn't be restored or try to reset the pc and it could not.
