The Aspire T3-710 / AT3-710 (desktop) is absent from the list of affected Acer models, despite the Intel detection tool flagging it as vulnerable to INTEL-SA-00086.

List of Acer affected models the T3-710 is absent from:-
https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/51890

Support page for T3-710 / AT3-710 also shows no recent ME firmware updates:-
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/support-product/6392?b=1

Is there a reason for its absence, or is Acer unaware of its status concerning INTEL-SA-00086?

Contact Acer in your region and inform them that your device is vulnerable.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

has anyone with this desktop model contacted Acer and asked why it is not listed in the affected models when it is affected according to the tool?

Hi there, i have tried through WebChat, and the telephone, however no real acknowledgment of the issue, and was told that if I required a BIOS update I would need to speak to a Technician as WebChat support wont deal with BIOS or system updates.
So back at square one, left a new topic as I didn't see yours, but yours is better as I dont seem to be able to link or add images, as apparently im such a noob :(
