Which hard disk driver for Windows 8 Acer Aspire z5600 (all-in-one)?

I'm trying to install Windows 8 on my Aspire z5600 and have downloaded all drivers that I think should work (AHCI and Chipset).  Windows cannot find the hard disk, so I browse to my usb flash disk and it does allow me to select one of many drivers.  No matter what I try it doesn't work.  Does anyone know which driver is needed to proceed to Windows setup?

OK, it turns out the issue isn't the driver, since the computer can detect the original 1TB SATA hard drive.  What it cannot see, though, is the Samsung 840 Pro SSD.  Not sure if there is a BIOS update required? I have another computer that can read the SSD just fine, so I'm stumped.  SATA 6 should be able to run SATA 3, correct?

Well, I solved my own issue and thought to post in case anyone else needed help with this. Basically, I had to use diskpart in the Windows repair section of the installation to create a partition, and mark as active, format, etc. Once I did that, Windows install could see the drive, I could format, delete, and create partitions. So there it is: Windows still can't format it's own drives!
