The value is infinite, I checlk it with other analog multimeter.

If you think that microphone is dead, please give me some link on ebay or somewhere else, where I can buy replacement.

I can not find anywhere built-in microphone replacement with 4 pins.

    >>>I [get] values between 615ohms and 1000ohms.>>>

This is high impedance but microphone may still may be OK. To test, set your multimeter to the lowest DC volt scale (probably millivolt, microvolt is better). Then put probes on the solder bumps that gave 615-1000 ohms. Blow air at the microphone. Do you see any voltage signal on the multimeter? Jack E/NJ

It is recognized on recording devices, so maybe it works. But as you sad impedance is very high, and that can cause problem. Problem was that I don't have signal.

I get values around 15Mohms with analog multimeter.

And I get very small voltage in millivolts, around 0.05mV.

But it can be 0. It gives values from 0,05 mV to 0 after few seconds.

Is that megohms!? Please set the multimeter to its lowest current scale (probably microampere) and repeat blowing test into microphone. Do you see current signal? Jack E/NJ

    Yes that are mega ohms.

The fact that you saw 50 microvolts output with a digital multimeter suggests the microphone is OK. Digital multimeters usually don't respond very fast so the fact that you actually saw a brief though small signal is good.

I suggest that you again re-seat the microphone connectors a half dozen or so times. Then re-assemble the machine to see if it's recognised again on recording devices without an external microphone.  Then select the microphone. Click properties. Then click recording. Then click level and set both the sound and boost levels at maximum. Then go back to the select microphone screen and start tapping your finger near the microphone. You should see the sound level meter react to your tapping as shown in the red oval on this image. Jack E/NJ

I told you values were 0 for voltage and current after few seconds. I had tried everything you suggested me in previous comment before I started this topic. Are you sure that values for impedance are OK? Values are high. You told me that it has to be 30-40 ohms....

Your earlier internal microphone level settings screenshot does not seem to have the internal microphone shaded highlight to adjust volume and boost levels. See the side-by-side red-oval comparison of your settings screenshot with my settings screenshot. Please double-check that your microphone is still highlighted when you adjust volume and boost to maximum levels.  Jack E/NJ

Yes but before I installed any driver, I had situation like on your second picture. I also had that situation after uninstalling audio driver.

I had this situation after installing Windows and uninstalling audio driver. But there wasn't detected any signal.

First I had formatted my HDD, and after that I installed Windows again. Nothing helps me.

If it's ***NOT highlighted*** when you try to adjust levels but ***IS highlighted*** before you try to adjust levels, yes, this might suggest a driver issue again. Do you recall how you installed the driver after switching to Win7ultimate and where did you get it from? Jack E/NJ
