My factory power cable died and the battery ran out of power so the computer shut off. Now i get a black screen. No "acer" splash screen. needless to say I can't access the bios or install the bios from windows.  My guess is bios is corrupted but maybe you have a better idea...

just to be clear:
No, i cannot run an update in windows
Yes, I tried an external monitor.
No, I can't get into the bios
Yes, i tried removing the battery and cmos battery and held the power button for 60 sec.
Yes i tried swapping ram in different slots.
Yes, i tried pressing fn + escape after extracting the .exe onto a freshly formatted usb drive, i tried using a rufus bootable usb with the .fd file located in temp files after running the .exe on a different computer.

I have the same issue  except I have an e1-572p       black screen and tried  ram swap  , external monitor  button pushing power off ,  I will not buy and another Acer Laptop  this cost me  $1000   so it is a decent laptop  ,  I cannot get to bios and don't have an ISO image
