We accidentally deleted all partitions on my Acer Aspire one AOA 110 ZG5 netbook. Since the recovery partition is gone, the eRecovery will not work.
I have 2 CDs that comes with the purchase. But I am not sure if these are the CDs that can help me to restore the netbook.
CD1 has label that says English for PA only Rev2,0  P/N RV N500B.092 Microsoft Win XP home edition SP3
CD2 has label that says System CD Rev2.0  P/N SD N500B.015

So I think CD1 is the WINXP software. But, It does not seem to be bootable. The Aspire 1 has no CD. I tried that on another laptop. Not sure what the use of CD2 ?
Can some one help me from here ?

Can you get to the boot menu the second you boot up the laptop? I think you press F12 to get to the boot menu. Load the CD from there by choosing DVD Drive.

The Aspire one netbook has no DVD drives. So DVD is not an option on the boot manual. I tried to plugin a USB DVD. But it does not show up in the boot manual or in BIOS. Perhaps a driver is needed to run first before it can be recognized.

I tried both CD (DVD)s on a regular laptop with the DVD drives. But they both are not bootable.
The first CD is the recovery CD ( I think by  reading the volume label). This is not bootable.
Volume in drive D is RECOVERYCD1
     Volume Serial Number is 4F3F-B110
     Directory of D:\

                   2 Dir(s)               0 bytes free

The volume label of the 2nd CD does not tell me anything. It does not boot in my regular laptop.  But the content of the CD may get me something bootable if I know how to use it. I hope one on this forum has used this CDs before and tell me what to do.

"The volume label of the 2nd CD does not tell me anything. It does not boot in my regular laptop"
I tried this again on another laptop and the 2nd CD (volume label CD_ROM) booted after I configure the BIOS to boot from the CD. It booted into the eRecovery Mamager screen.
I created a bootable falsh drive using Imagburn and Rufus suing the ISO of the 2nd CD. My ZG5 now booted into the eRcovery Manager with only 2 options. The first option "Recover operating system to factory default" is grayed out. The second option is Exit. I am stuck again.
