So I am sick of always losing my WiFi connection every 10 mins and having to turn it off then back on.  I've tried all the tricks and updates and didn't driver versions to no avail.  I want to replace the Atheros card with an Intel card.  I opened up the ultrabook but could not find where the card is located.  I assume it is going to be under the mobo but not positive and do not want to have to take that out to only find out it is not there.  Was wondering if anybody has taken apart theirs and replaced the card for something else?  Either with an older model M or the same model.  Any help would be appreciated.  I would return the ultrabook but threw away my reciept so i'm stuck with it now.

So I forgot I had an old laptop that the card worked great in and never dropped.  I decided to take the one out of the old laptop and replace this POS that acer calls hardware.  In order to replace the card you have to remove the mobo from the ultrabook as well cause they decided to mount it under the mobo.  I uninstalled all the hardware before turning off the ultrabook and then took out the old card.  Replaced with the new (old) card from the other laptop and now enjoying drop free wifi.  I plan on replacing the current card when I recieve my Intel one in but for now this will do.  If anybody wants a DIY post I would be more then glad to do it when I change it again as i'm sure all the ultrabook acer layouts are all the same.
