Why does my predator helios 300 laptop cannot install predator sense?

I managed to download it from the acer website under applications, but when i tried to install it they told me to run the set up however after finishing the set up when i tried to install it , it says that "PredatorSense Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified." What does this mean and how do i fix the problem and install predatorsense as i need the cooling system for gaming.

    Have you pre-installed windows?
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Try running as administrator. (Right click the "setup" installer, and choose run as administrator).

    I am not too sure what u mean by pre-installed windows. And i tried running the administrator too but it cannot be work they still said it has ended prematurely due to some errors

    Have you installed another copy of windows 10 on your device? What version of Predator Sense are you trying to install?

    I did not do anything to my laptop but my school did but they said they just installed mircrosoft word,excel, powerpoint etc so im not too sure if thats counted. Is there anyway to check if they tried to install another copy of windows 10? And if so can i still install predatorsense? And the version is V2.01.3005

    I doubt they would do something to the windows. There have been situations that predator sense won't install on windows 10 pro and other copies of windows 10.

    In desktop left click on windows icon( bottom left) and enter in settings. Left-click on system and then about. Next to 'edition' will be shown the edition of windows 10 that you have installed(e.g windows 10 home).

    If you haven't upgraded the windows, they did. The windows 10 home that was running on your device is a customised copy made by Acer, designed for your laptop. There is some kind of a plugin in this windows, which is needed by Predator sense in order to install and work. Without this plugin, Predator Sense doesn't recognise your device as predator helios and it won't run.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    So where can i get this plugin, because without predator sense basically i cannot game

    You can't it is kind of integrated in the windows. Saying it is a plugin is an easier way to explain why Predator sense won't install, but I don't what it is. It could be just the windows itself. The only way to have this plugin is to install the custom copy of win10 for your device, which means you have to contact Acer and probably they will require you to send your device to their repair centre.

    It is very unfortunate that your school completely wiped your laptop by putting their own image on it. I advise you to contact Acer and get the correct version of Windows, and install Office yourself (I can try to help you with it).

    I could also try to send you the OEM files on the Acer laptops and see if anything gets it to work (depending on which one you have), but that is a long shot.

    ok recently when i was gaming  although i do not have predatorsense the cooling fan on by itself and help to remove the heatness but why is that so and how do i on the cooling fan without predator sense

    The cooling fans have their RPM/load % curve set from BIOS, not from Predator Sense. Predator sense is an app that lets you have some control of the fans. Other applications for fan control won't work.

    hello! i have the same problem! i cant install predator sense on a helios 300 g3 571. i reinstall to the original windows. What can i do? 
    where can i find the "plug in". i need it.

    If you reinstalled the original Windows, you can no longer install Predator Sense. You will need to contact Acer for the factory image. No one has found a way around this as of yet.

    thanks man. I already contact Acer and they said they cant send me de factory image.. is there any thing i can do? any solution? 
    Can i download the plug in that i need?
    it is fanny because i can install the predator sense of OTHER models (like G5 or G9), but cant install the version of this model (G3-571)..

    Hi Prozkillu,

    Yes is automatic but you need the original O.S. if you want your predator sense.

    Rafael59 i have help you previously with this matter and your concerns. If you change the original operating system you will need the original USB/DVD O.S. to reinstalled it. The option to send it to our repair center to have it fix was given, but you have refuse to, as you consider will take to much time. Please keep in mind that you have the option to purchase the RCD media on our Service Center and we have not refuse to send it to you, but it will not be free of charge.

    it happened to me too ! What i did is that i got a either older version of Predator Sense , or a version that is compatible with other predator laptops similar to mine (very similar)
