When will the E5-553G-F55F get a BIOS update that allows virtualization to be turned on?

I need to get a BIOS update that allows me to turn on virtualization. I bought this laptop just for that and it is not much good without it. Can you tell when or if you are going to put an update out that will allow me to change this in the BIOS? If not, I need to sell this laptop and get one that will.

I cannot update to the latest Windows Insider Build 17063.1000 because of a problem apparently to do with needing to disable Virtualisation on my Aspire ES1-572 and there is NO Bios setting for this?
Also, when are you going to allow updates from Intel, the graphics driver is WAY out of date for my INTEL HD Graphics 620.

    Does Acer monitor these forums?

Re- virtualization. You can try to set a BIOS supervisor password to see if more options then become available after a coldboot. If not check here  https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/32650#_ga=2.135040369.1528063585.1510833831-1147057196.1510833831

Re - JackE, thanks for the help, but setting the BIOS supervisor password did not work. It still does not show the advance settings in BIOS. I know my processor supports virtualization. The problem is getting to the advance settings in BIOS to turn it on because the option is hidden in my BIOS settings. I seen a post from a user a while back with the same laptop (E5-553G) as mine, that asked about a BIOS update, that would allow advance settings to be seen and changed. If my memory serves me correctly, there have been 2 BIOS updates since then, and you still cannot see or change the advance setting. I just wanted to know a date/time on when or if they are going to provide an update that allows us to view and change the advance BIOS settings. Thanks again for your help, but since I posted my question I have found that this is a major problem with Acer products, so I already purchased another laptop that allows me to change the BIOS settings, which is a shame because I really like this laptop. This was my first Acer product, and will probably be my last. I can only hope they put a BIOS update out allowing me to change the setting, so I can get some use out of this laptop.

The latest documented version I see is 1.19 https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6750?b=1  There are probably undocumented ways to get there if you post to the bios-mods site but chance of bricking increases Jack E/NJ
