Hi There, I recently purchased an Aspire 515-51G-818L with a normal 1TB HDD. What I want to find out is whether my laptop supports an additional drive (SSD, I assume m.2). I have a suspicion that it does because the same model laptop does come out in some builds with both HDD and SSD.

Your help would be appreciated.
Thanks

    Hi,
Yes, you have a M.2 SSD slot, you need to remove the back cover to access the slot, make sure removing the back cover doesn't void the warranty by contacting Acer Support centre in your region.

Just for the future - SSD can be put into almost any laptop, and if there is no slot for it, then you can put it instead of the CD drive.
