I really love gaming and I usually play 6-7 hours or longer, the problem is, if I remove my power the performance won’t be as it is but in exchange for wearing out the battery. Is it okay to leave your laptop charging for long gaming sessions? Or should I tweak some settings?

    Hi,
Yes, you can leave your laptop connected to mains while using, it will not damage your battery or the laptop, once the battery is fully charged it will stop charging.

When it is fully charged, it keeps taking power from the battery(maybe not as much compared to when not connected to charger), but it is better(for the battery) to leave it plugged in all the time, than waiting for the battery to drain and then discharge it, because with every recharge, the battery's life reduces by a little. I have been having my laptop for about 5months and most of the time, whether I am gaming or doing other tasks, it is constantly connected to AC. For 5months with mostly everyday usage, the battery wear level is 2.9%, which isn't much.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Does that mean if it’s fully charged it will start taking from the main? Not from the battery? Is it safe to do?
