It is stuck at 1%. Once I unplug the AC power it dies. Used CROSH: battery health is 99.1%. The power/battery icon on the lower right corner shows the battery is not charging. Please help. Ia m so frustrated.

Oh It also said: bypassing possibly bonus 0% battery status or something. I did the hard reset (holding refresh and power) 12 times or so......Did everything the youtube chromebook info videos. Please help. Would replacing the charger port help or is it the charging circuitry? Do I have to replace the whole motherboard? Or use it as a 'tethered laptop' instead?

same problem, replaced battery and it charged for a while and then would not charge beyond 90% and now just slowly discharges while plugged in. replaced charger, nada. I guess I have another desktop unit.

Are you referring to crosh>battery_test 1 (if plugged in)  to test the battery ? If it does not charge does the power adapter or plug (into the Chromebook) get hot ? Certainly sounds like either a bad battery or the wrong battery.
