Today I could not boot up normally and I get the Acer eRecovery Management screen ( V8.0.7). After selecting both Factory Defaults option and Later Retain User Data option the system reverts back to the same screen.
I next used the 4 x Acer recovery Disks that I made when I first bought the computer with the same results.
I dont seem able to restore my computer with either option.
Can anyone assist me please

can be an HDD issue and trying to reset or re-install windows will not solve your issue.
i suggest you to take it to a computer shop and have your HDD checked.

Can I use my Acer Recovery Disks to restore my Win 7 OS on a new HDD fixed by a computer shop?
    Sorry for sounding dumb.
