Getting "error updating threads:you are not signed in " error occasionally. Any clue to cause ? Thanks

    Depends on what's throwing the error. Could be an app that requires a sign in, could be an app that wants Google access.

    Anyway to determine app. Causing this? Have seen when in email, Facebook, etc. Just error message displayed for several seconds..no clue to app. Thanks

    Not likely to be easy if the app doesn't announce itself. A lot of the background apps restart themselves if you shut them down so even shutting everything down and watching for the error to reappear to find the app wouldn't always work.
