Acer aspire 5742G charging proplem

I Have acer aspire 5742G sometimes when i plug in my charger the power button and the charging led flashed and the laptop doesnt charge espicially when i open games
i tried everything installed the latest drivers bought a new charger my battery is new too i tried to the power reset but i failed misrebly plz help

Hi,
Disconnect from mains(remove AC adapter), remove the battery, press Power button for 20-30 secs, let the laptop to rest for 10-15 mins, then install the battery, connect AC adapter and try starting the laptop and see whether it fixes the problem.
