I have found the location and downloaded the latest BIOS for my PC but have found the instructions to upgrade/flash quite confusing. I am running a Windows 10 desktop. Do I do this from a command prompt in Windows. Use a bootable flash drive? Something else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

unzip the downloaded file and simply double click the Flash_x64.bat if your OS is 64bit or Flash.bat if it's 32bit, inside the WIN folder

Yes, you will do it from an Admin Command Prompt in Windows.  No, you don't need a bootable flash drive.  Any USB drive will work.

    1. Download R01.B1

    2. Right click on the zipped BIOS file that you just downloaded, and Extract All

    3. Copy the WIN and ROM folders to an external USB drive

    4. Go in to your BIOS settings and disable secure boot and save/exit.

    5. In Windows 10, open up an Admin Command Prompt

    6. If your external USB drive has, for example, a drive letter of F, then your would type

    F:
    cd win
    flash_x64

    7. After the processing completes, then restart your computer.

    8.  Press the delete key on your keyboard to enter the BIOS settings

    9. Load the BIOS defaults (F9) and then save/ exit (F10)

I got the instructions out of the Appendix folder...System BIOS update SOP for Windows..
