Hi!  i have a question.
What does in mean this : Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81GHz

The "2.8GHz 2.81GHz" means "from ... up to ..."?

I have a Predator Helios 300.

  • Where did you find this at?

The 7700HQ has a base clock of 2.8GHz, with a turbo of up to 3.8GHz on a single core and a turbo of 3.4GHz on all 4 cores.

Usually the turbo boost clock is not shown by windows. Download HWiNFO. Open the application and put a tick on 'summary only'. Some info about GPU and CPU will appear and I want you to screenshot the whole thing(download lightshot it is for screenshots and you can directly upload the image and send the link here).
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

It is important that the max frequency shown in HWiNFO is 3.8Ghz.

"You have to be around for a little while longer before you can post links."
Thats happens when i try to upload an image.

But i can write the results of the app:
    It says:

    Operation Point        Clock
    CPU MFM (LPM)        800.0 MHz
    CPU lpm (Min)         800.0Mhz
    CPU HFM (Max)       2800.0 MHz
    CPU Turbo            3800.0 MHZ
    CPU Status   -

    etc.

Yes you have the turbo boost, so you don't have to worry that it is not displayed in windows. Windows only shows the base frequency and HWiNFO shows cpu turbo is 3800MHz, which is how much your CPU can go up to.
