Hi,

My Acer Liquid Zest 3G Dual (T06) periodically installs an app named "Batteryinfo" on my default Android 6 system.

When I touch the app icon, I can read a welcome text from Acer "thank you for choosing Acer... non removable battery..."

When I uninstall the app it will reinstall itself a few weeks later.

I purchased this device one year ago and it's the first two times it happens. Auto update is disabled and Acer has never provided any update for my device.

I haven't installed any clean-up-battery-saving-or-root-tools-things stuff that could act as a memory reset.

Any advice on how it happens?

Thank you.
Best Regards.

never heard about this kind of issue, by the way, had you try a factory reset? (backup all your personal data first)
    settings/backup & reset - factory data reset

then check if the application will auto install again

If you are still under warranty, i would call Acer support and ask about that app.

I just contact the support from Acer and the guy said that it is an update for this phone, and the next time it will appears, i juste need to accept it.

yes, you need to accept this, it is to let customer know that the battery inside is NOT! removeable by the customer. If a customer try to remove the battery they will damage the battery.
