I own an Acer Aspire S3 and every time my laptop connects to the home internet it crashes. Other devices can connect fine and work fine, but once I connect the laptop the internet dies and the other devices can’t use it either. Wondering if anyone can help me with this issue.

From this page find your model and under BIOS/Firmware download the latest version. Make sure before updating that the battery is fully charged and laptop connected to charger. The laptop might restart several times, so don't turn it off until the installation is updated.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

You can try fixing it with updating the BIOS to latest version and update the wireless LAN driver.
