Hi, just bought a Iconia One 10 B3-A30 for my child and it will not boot up after being turned off from kids center. It works fine when not in kids center, I can switch it off and back on no problem but when I set it to only run in kids center mode (the reason I bought the thing!) It won't go past the flashing Acer logo screen on boot. I have already done a reset (holding power and up volume buttons etc) but I don't fancy having a tablet that I have to reset every time the battery runs out! Help please?!

had you check if any system update or google play update is available for your tablet and the kids center?
settings/about tablet/system update - tap on manual check

if it still have the issue, please contact the Acer support service.

When I turned the tablet on for the first time there were two system updates, which i installed (I take it one of these is the culprit?). I managed to get it to start up again by removing the SD card, holding power + up volume and then telling it to wipe cache partition and then rebooting but then it crashes as soon as it tries to start up in kids center mode, I mean properly locks up, not responsive. On second go with SDcard installed it won't boot up again! So, removed SDcard again and it booted up!

    Now i'm wondering if:
A - There's an issue with the SDcard?
B - Kids Center/Android/combination of the two doesn't like apps being installed to an SDCard

I'm going to try a different SDcard and I'll let you know the outcome, at least I have it down to an SDcard issue now!

So during an update it went stuck?
By the way, it's a good choice to try another SD card.
