Hi all,

I just bought an Acer Spin 1 and really (really) want to put Linux on it but every time I boot from usb it just hangs on an initial boot prompt. What do I have to do to disable secure boot and install an operating system of my choice (that isn't tracking me all the time). Please help

Sincerely,
Eoin

    Hi all,
Figured it out, one needs to create a boot password before deleting TPM and disabling secure boot.
    Thanks,

Make sure you have the latest BIOS.  Go in to your BIOS settings and enable the F12 boot menu......enable secure boot and then add Grub to the trusted secure boot settings.  You can then use F6 to get it to the top (in the boot order).
