Hello,

I am wondering if keeping my charger always plugged in in order to have max. in game performance would hurt my batter or shorting its life span as its not removable. Other Laptops brands such as lenovo has a build in power management software that allows the user to stop battery charging at %80 (for example) even if the power cord is plugged and the battery status will change to "plugged in but not charging". In my case the GTX 1060 wouldn't work on battery so the power cord is always plugged while playing and when the battery is fully charged to %100 its status changed from "charging" to "charged" .

Any ideas on how to stop battery from charging or how to preserve its life span?

Thanks,
