Hi all, my Chromebook suddenly while casting the BBC iPlayer on Friday, suddenly started to stutter and then stuck, the next thing was the Chromebook went into power wash and I was able to log into Google and The Chromebook then stated that chrome os is missing or damaged, so I used a USB drive and used chrome recovery utility app to get a copy of chrome is for the Chromebook, but when I try to recover chrome, I get the following error " an unexpected error has occurred " I have pressed the tab button and the following error has come up Ox5a which appears to be that the ssd has had it? So can I replace the ssd? If so what one can I buy in the UK? Or is there anything else I can do to sort this out?

How did you determine which part need replacement? I got the same problem with my daughter's laptop. But my first error message was Ox02 and when I hold refresh and press power key a number of times, then I get 0x5b.
