I have Acer Predator 17 running on Windows 10 64 bits fromlike half an year.

It has several problems like screen blinking if lid is closed and opened without shutting down the laptop, or win key not working. The last one fixed by its own, the blinking screen still appear and is fixable only by restarting the laptop BUT this is not my biggest problem. My programmable keys stopped working tonight. They were working before to shut down the laptop and when i turn it on this morning not working anymore.

They are lighed up in red (default program) but when i try to press for turning on the fans or whatever - nothing happens. If i pres the P key for changing the program it is changing its colour, but onlyt it, the rest of the keys stays in red.

Is it possible GPU (Envidia GTX 980M) driver update to afect them, if yes what should i do, if not.. again what should i do. Unbelievable expensive laptop is useless (for its gaming purposes) like only half an year after i got it.

Have you tried opening Predator Sense and re-configure the keys to see if this would make them work again?
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Seems even only opening it and change from default (and setting it back) helped without reprogramming anythings, tnx
