Ok, I'm bummed. I have a G9-793 that I got at Costco... 64gb RAM, 4K screen... love it. Until today. Played some games earlier today, and then had to run some errands. Shut it down, came back a few hours later, push power button and nothing. No charge indicator, no power indicator, nothing. I checked the power brick with a multimeter and seems to be good. Tried the battery reset button on the underside, nothing. Tried it with holding the power button... nothing. I've tried the power button up to 45 seconds to no avail. Pulled the lower cover off and disconnected the battery manually and held down the power button... re-assembled and nothing. still no power light, charge indicator, nothing.
Ideas? I assume I have to send it in, or my other option is to return it to Costco (love their policy!) but I do like this laptop. Not to mention I've repasted, added another m.2 drive, put in bluray...

Anyways... help.

Costco or Acer support service are the only available solutions reading your troubleshoot.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

well, sent it in. Guess I should have gotten a return at Costco.. the 2 way shipping warranty does not work to Alaska - must be some low cost ground BS. I had to pay $120 of my own money to ship it 2nd day and just got told by Acer they will not pay me back. It comes back with any issues, or another arises before the warranty runs out and I will return it.  Not super happy right now... too bad as I do like the laptop.

Ok, so interesting twist. I got a call from Acer, talked with someone and after submitting my receipt for the shipping, they are going to send a reimbursement check. Kinda surprised, to say the least. But, with the support I've gotten I'm pleased I didn't just return it. Not to mention that I got notice that they have already fixed it and it will be shipped back soon. Had an Asus G73 and had to send it in too, and it was over 3 weeks before I got it back
