I bought an ICONIA A110 tablet abouth a month ago and it has developed cracks on the bottom corners. I didn't dropped it or did nothing wrong.

I noticed that many other people have this problem.

So i sent it off to repair center in Istanbul. But they said that it isn't a manufacturing fault and sent it back to me. They also rejected my objections based on other customers complaints.

Even it's USB driver is not working properly. So i am very very disappointed with my purchase and there is nothing to do left except contact to legal authorities.

Full list of the faults I've had with mine since I bought it:

    * Bottom corners cracking / falling off

    * Tablet overheating / back panel discoloured from silver to some weird copper colour.

SENT FOR REPAIR AND ENDED UP BEING CHARGED £5 FOR A NEW BACK PANEL

    One week later...

    * Complete power fail

SENT FOR REPAIR AND THE MOTHERBOARD WAS REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE

    One week later...

    * A slight gap by the HDMI / Power ports - can actually see into the tablet.

    * A clicking noise coming from the left of the back panel when you hold it.

    One week later...

    * Tablet display skipping back a screen for no reason

    * Bottom left corner cracking AGAIN

SCHEDULED FOR UPS PICK UP TOMORROW - MAKING IT THE THIRD TIME I'VE HAD TO SEND IT FOR REPAIRS.

Sorry but I think Acer have to face the facts here and admit that this is a faulty product that they're selling here.

SEVEN faults in three months and I haven't used it for anything but light reading IN BED!

Absolutely shameful quality from Acer. Definetly won't buying anything from them ever again.

Customer service is just as bad as well - their infoteam / complaint excalations department was supposed to be calling me last week and so far I've not heard anything back from them. I've also sent two emails and haven't recieved a reply as of yet. Looks like the next step will be to contact my solicitor unfortunately

My husband and I both bought A110's in October 2012, apparently just as they were coming out, and both our have cracked on the bottom corners too.  No dropping or other damage has happened to either of them as well.  I am alo having a heck of a time trying to charge the tablet.  The cord is EXTREMELY finicky, and has to be seated in the mini usb slot just "so" and 90 percent of the time I can't find that spot. I've tried it upright, laying down, on many surfaces.  It'll be "charging" when I go to bed, but by morning the cable will have shifted a millimetre and the battery is dead.  It's quite frustrating, because other than these two major issues, I do love the tablet.
