Does anyone know if the 2nd M.2 SSD slot can fit a standard M.2 2280 (screwed in) instead of the completely non-existant M.2 22110? Unless I'm missing something obvious, the internet is telling me that M.2 22110 SSD's do not exist and a 2280 just seems to stick out when put in as there is nowhere to screw it down.

    Hello,

Yes it is a SSD M.2 2280 but you'll need these parts too:

    33.Q04N5.001SSD.BRACKET
    86.RGV0U.002SCREW.M2.5*3.5L.K.B-NI.NY (Qty: 1)

Thank you. Any idea where I could find them in Europe? Most places seem to be out of stock.

Hmmm... You should try here (the cheapest). I checked from some European resellers and nobody has this part in stock. Don't forget the customs fees. You could also contact your service customer via e-mail. May be they will give you the contact details of their parts partners.

    Hi Guys,

I've just purchased the bracket and a new M2 ssd. After the install the computer won't start, I cannot enter BIOS or do anything. After I've removed the new SSD, the laptop works just fine.

Do you know why? Has anyone encountered the same issue?

    Thanks,

    Adi

System might not be compatible with the SSD. Does the predator logo appear when you turn on?
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    Hi,

That's the only thing that it does - the predator logo. The SSD is a crucial mx300 1tb, it should be compatible.

    Thanks!
