    Hello,

You'll be able to install one SSD M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 3.0 X4. For example, some models are shipped with this SSD. As I'm not a gamer, I can't answer to your second question.

I contacted acer support regrding the ssd on the same modal (i5, 1050ti) but they informed me that the M.2 slot only supports SATA ssd and not NVMe.
I am still wating for someone to verify if NVMe will work on the system.

This the quote form acer support

Thank you for contacting Acer India Helpdesk.

As per the shared serial number, M2 port is Sata type in this system.

Please feel free to contact us for any additional queries. Thank you for choosing Acer.

You can upgrade to m.2 sata ssd like this one ADATA m.2 sata SSD, but I'm still waiting to see if someone is able to Install an NVMe SSD to the laptop as NVMe SSD are way faster then SATA ssd.

also you can't install an ssd yourself without voiding the warranty as installing the ssd requires to open up the whole bottom of the laptop which voids the warranty.

Ok, will it still void the warranty if i do it at acer service centre, also what do you think about this laptop , can it game like asus rog or dell 7567, is it a good purchase for 72000

Getting an ssd installed at service center will not void the warranty, but the ssd prices there will be higher and I don't know if they will install an ssd brought from the market.

I only played gta 5 on it which is giving 45+fps on very high, 60+ if I drop down to high.

Its the best configuration that you can get for the price. Just get an ssd installed as soon as possible as the hard disk is pretty slow, even booting into windows takes minutes.

    Hello,

Could You give me the first ten characters of Your motherboards serial number?

    You'll find like this:

    Spoiler
    1. Download HWiNFO portable version (no installation)
    2. Launch HWiNFO
    3. Expand Motherboard
    4. Expand SMBIOS DMI
    5. Click on Mainboard
    6. Post the first ten characters of Mainboard Serial Number located in the left column. Only the first ten.

    HI Pankaj,

I bought the  laptop as well and i was wondering whether i could install a ssd without opening up the bottom panel.

They have provided a openable slot for hard drive at the bottom and i was wondering whether i could install an SSD through it.

My Mother board model number is  NHQ2QSI002

    Hi Laurent,

It would be great if you could confirm whether i can use SSD and HDD simultaneously and whether i can install a SSD in the provided Hard drive slot without opening up the whole bottom panel.

By the way the laptop is great, with SSD it would be the perfect laptop for me. Iam able to play witcher 3 at stable framerate with  medium to ultra settings

You can replace the hard disk with a 2.5 inch SSD in the provided hard disk slot without opening up the whole bottom.

To simultaneously use a SSD and HDD you have to open the complete bottom pannel and install an M.2 SATA SSD on the M.2 slot provided on the motherboard. (not sure about PCIe SSD support)
