a100 reset by it self or something

Have an A100, everything was fine yesterday morning, but then in the evening, I turn on the tablet, and it had a screen asking to register the device. I selected skip. But the home screen was now a default home screen and all my installations and saved date etc... was gone.

I can only assume that it auto reset by itself, because that what it looks like, but that just seems unlikely.

Another data point, there are no accounts associated with it.

I've seen posts that mention this type of thing when you inadvertantly log in as a guest user, but it doesn't look like 4.0.3 version has that.

Does anyone know what is going on and or what happened????

if it had a registered gmail account and it factory resetted, someone did it on the tablet or remotely from a PC, no other way for a device to factory reset itself.

Yes it had a registered account before "whatever happened". That is why this is weird because there is now no account synced with it and all the installed programs etc are gone.

Plus, it was in my house all day.

I am wondering if something, besides a reset, happened.

as i told you, it seems a full factory reset.

re-sync it and change your password account.
