Acer swift 3 high pitched noise

Model: Acer Swift 3 SF314-51-52W2

 

Too late to return for refund, but warranty is still active.

 

There's a high pitched electrical noise, whine, whatever coming from the bottom of the laptop. Some people call it coil whine, idk what it is but it's pretty annoying to me. Anyone else have this problem? Is this common for this laptop? A defect? Not sure what to do, is there any way to fix it? Should I send it to Acer and see if they can repair it? 

 

Edit: Now I'm pretty sure it's the fan, didn't think it was the fan before.

    Sounds like a coil whine

     

    You can get a coil whine every now and then. So it is not uncommon. And unfortunately its on the hardware.

    If you hear a coil whine, it is a sign of a problem

    any chance of official answer from acer?

     

    my laptop is two month old and i've already experienced strange fan noises and this "coil whine" noises. the two types of noise are totally unrelated. i'll be returning the product hopefully for a full refund!
