aspire v5-571p windows 10: how to skip splash screen
when I boot I get a useless splash screen (generally has a microsoft chosen picture with options to click for more info or to 'like'/'not like'). Sometimes gets stuck for 30s or a minute at this point, pretty annoying. Can I change the boot process so it goes straight to the sign in /login screen?
System originally came with windows 8 (or 8.1).
Thank you.

Press the Win + R keys. Enter msconfig in the run box that pops up. In the msconfig boot options screen, checkmark "no gui boot". Click on apply and then OK. Next time you boot the annoyance should be gone. Jack E/NJ
