    I am planning to go to England next year and plan to take my laptop with me.I know that I can use it there because of the laptop adaptor, but what I want to know is will the network adaptor pickup the wifi signal at my dad's place ?

      So is the router a 2.4 or 5.0 or both?  We don't do 3.6.

       

      Pick up signals? YES.  Connect you? Maybe.
