I just got my switch Alpha 12 today and I am having a problem that I do not know if it is a glitch or a design flaw. When I tap my finger into any sort of text field, the search bar in the browser for example, the keyboard should (I assume( automatically pop up like it does on a Microsoft Surface (or any smartphone). unfortunately it does not.

Instead I then have to separately tap at the bottom of the screen.

If I tap the search field with my pain that sometimes brings up the pain text input version of the keyboard, but if I tap the text field with my finger it never brings up any sort of keyboard unless I separately tap the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen.

Is this something that is fixable?

I had the same problem with my Switch Alpha 12 and I rang the Acer help line. The guy concluded that it was soething to do with me using Google Chrome as a browser and suggested I try Mozilla Firefox or microsoft edge. I don't find them as easy to use as Google Chrome, but I don't get the keyboard problem when I'm searching the web.
