X34 Predator causing BSOD?

As the description says, I plugged in my new monitor with display port. I have an i7 6700k running stock and my GPU is a 980GTX SC. I've tried all three DP slots and HDMI to the same result.

I went back to my old monitor and the same result as well. I haven't been able to get back into Windows long enough to use older drivers. Or check to see if the onboard video is disabled

    how do you figure its the monitor when you tested a different one and still get BSOD. I say your bsod cause is elsewhere
