Hello, I just read on a site that the CB3-131 series of Acer Chromebooks would be recieving Android APP support within 2017. I was wondering if there was any word on when this will happen. I could sure use it right now, it'd be pretty convienient. Thanks.

Check with Google, they have a page that gets updated for each release. They won't be pinned down to a specific date, but as each model gets closer their estimates get firmer.

What worked for me on my Chromebook 14 CB3-431-C5EX:
    1. Switch to Beta (not Canary) channel.
    2. Enable Developer Mode (without Debug).
    3. Run a script.
    4. Play Store (beta) appears, fully functional.

Or wait until there is official support.
