Acer A1-810 hangs at power up with Acer logo.

I tried the below, but after step 3, I never get any recovery screen...just Acer logo switching back and forth from solid to animated. I must hold power button down to power off. Any help is appreciated.

Power off the tablet.

Press and hold the Volume up button, which is located closest to the touch screen lock switch.
While holding the Volume up button, press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds then release it. Continue holding the Volume up button.
Once the tablet screen turns on, stop holding the buttons.
On the Android system recovery screen, select wipe data/factory reset. Use the Volume up and Volume down keys to navigate through the menus and use the Power button to select the desired option.
When prompted to "Confirm wipe of all user data", select Yes -- delete all user data.
Select reboot system now.

Hi, I've tried that. I selected wipe data, then,yes, then reboot but all that happens is the acerscreen appears, then an android figure erasing then it takes me back to the system recovery screen. What do I do now?

I was able to get to the recovery screen as follows.

Hold down the Volume DOWN button. Press power until vibrate, then release as usual. Continue holding Volume down until recovery screen appears. I then did a reset/erase

And it quickly showed two lines...data erased and cache erased. Then I toggled back up to reboot....and it booted fine. Just had to set up again and all my Google stuff was restored fine.
