Hi everyone,

I have cloned my EMMC to the SSD with AOMEI Backupper, but I couldn't manage to set the boot priority for SSD. It still boots from EMMC, although I gave the first place to SSD in BIOS. How can I rearrange the boot order?

Thanks for answers!

    if you are under UEFI settings, the first bootable device must be Windows Boot Manager but you need to wipe your EMMC completly first or it will always boot from it.

    Yes, UEFI is activated and I can see Windows Boot Manager on the Boot list. So,

    1-Set Windows Boot Manager in the 1st place

    2-Wipe EMMC

    Then,

    It will directly boot from cloned SSD.

    Did I get it right?

    Is there anything else which I must set or do to use SSD except these steps? This UEFI stuff is making me confused, that's why I ask it repeatedly.

    Thanks in advance.

    all correct but double check that your SSD has an UEFI partition or it will never boot from UEFI.

    I have checked and it has a partition for UEFI which is around 100 MB.

    I prepared to a flash drive with Acronis Disk Manager so that after I wiped EMMC, I could use SSD. However, it didn't work like that. I booted the system from flash drive, but it didn't recognize EMMC and I couldn't erase it. Then, I set a password in order to turn off Secure Boot and turned it off, but again this didn't change anything else.

    I saw a section in Bios, which I think it might be helpful but I'm not sure. In that section, there were these options;

    * Erase all Secure Boot Setting:        ENTER

    * Restore Secure Boot to:                 ENTER

    * Factory Default                             ENTER

    What should I do now? Should I try to erase all the secure boot settings? Or is there another way to solve this?
