I had this laptop since september last year. Today, I was browsing on google chrome when suddenly the laptop's power went out. There was no shut down or a blue screen. The laptop was off and there are no charger LED lights even though it is plugged in. I tried to turn it on by pressing the power button but nothing is happening. I tried to plug the charger on and off but the LED lights won't light up either. It has a full battery too since it was plugged in the entire time. It just went dead all of a sudden. Can anyone tell me what went wrong and how do I fix it(if I can).

I posted this on my phone.

look at the bottom of your laptop, on the left side near the product sticker, you will notice a pinhole with a battery icon.

put a pin inside the pinhole and take it for about 30-60 seconds.

then try to power on your laptop as always.

What I tried to do was put a paper clip inside the battery hole. There was a tiny button inside so I pressed it down for 6 seconds and then I took it out. I left the laptop alone for 5 minutes and came back to press the power button. Nothing happened so I tried to plug in my charger but the charging LED would not light up. Usually the charging LED would turn on when the laptop is plugged in even when it is shutdown.

do a longer press on the pinhole, if it's still not working, give Acer support service a call.
