E13 es1 311 will not turn on

Hi laptop has both blue lights on but will not turn on at all and briefly shows critical battery sign. Any help greatly appreciated

    Acer laptops of recent make normally require a functional battery to operate even when plugged into power. Look for a battery reset feature on bottom, if none remove bottom cover and unplug battery, wait a few mins and pluging back in should reset battery status. If that does not work battery had most likely failed and needs replacement. I have not personally looked into the hardware side to see if a way too over ride battery status is possible. I know some laptops have a option in bios to ignore battery status (had a Alienware that had it) so could check for that. Sorry have no more info for you, not familiar with that model so just giving general pertaining info.
