Yesterday I bought Acer liquid z6. After more than 8 hours charging the batterylevel is just 37%. Is it normal that charging the battery for the first time takes so long?

Unfortunately the solutions didn't work. Ik went to the shop en got a new one. At this point, it works perfect. But thanks for the help!

    no, not normal.

power it off and connect the charger, this will increase the charge speed.

then check if it discharges fast, probably there's an application draining the battery.

I already tried this. The phone was off for 5 hours and the battery level was increased with only 4%.

not good, call Acer support service or your seller.

Have you tried a different charger and cable ?

I did have one of my Zest plus phones which came with a bad cable (even though it was new).  Using it, no matter what, would be a trickle charge.  I changed cable (since I have piles of them), and the charging rate is normal.

    Anyhow, just a thought.
