XC-605 add SDD

Hi
Is it possible to add an SSD to the PC? I would like to keep the old HHD and add the SSD, so I have both installed at the same time?

Hi Jakob,
The Aspire XC-605 is equipped with two bays (see attachment), two SATA 3.0 and one SATA 2.0 connectors:
- 1x SATA 3.0 for HDD
- 1x SATA 3.0 for DVD drive
- 1x SATA 2.0 free
Unfortunately the height of the bays = the width of the case so no space available.

I think I can place the ssd safely in th pc.

So you only have two SATA power connectors coming from the PSU?
You'll see an connector illustration in this table.
