It iust happened, one second it was there, the next it was gone when tablet is in normal mode.

When starting, an app or something partially open it can be seen slightly.

First photo is from before it disappeared. All others are when it is not visible, when a tab is partially open or when first starting up. Also, my wallpaper keeps changing to default and I don't know if this has something to do with it or not.

Please help.

The clock display is just a widget (widgets allow display in more than one grid, icons only in one) that can be turned on and off. Long press the home screen and it'll change to the display that lets you move, add and subtract icons. At the bottom of the screen there should be an icon for Widgets, select the icon and you should then be able to choose any of several different clocks (it looks like you were using the 4x1 digital clock) and drag it to where you want it displayed. It can be slightly different depending on which OS you have, but that should get you headed in the right direction.

Thanks! Now I have my clock back.

Problem, it was a 4x2 widget, now it is 8x2. Is there a way to move the outer edges back in and resize it back to normal?

I tried to hold both sides (with dots showing) and push the sides in, but it didn't work.

Now it is a massive space hog! It wasn't when I got the tablet as a gift. I was able to have 8 small icons beside it, 4 on either side of it ( 2x2x2 squared). Now I can't even have 1 icon beside it, it uses the entire top of the screen!

Widgets are usually not resizable, they offer different sizes to give you different options. I wonder if they decided the 4x2 wasn't being used enough and removed it as part of an update? That would surprise me since they usually like to make choices that support both landscape and portrait and porttrait usually doesn't have enough room for a full eight wide.

It was not 8x wide until I started moving my icons into folders instead of tons of them everywhere.

During which I placed a 5th icon beside the clock and it disappeared.

I have had no updates since then.  This just happened a few days ago.

It was not all the way across ever since I got it. There was room beside it one either side for icons!

That is usually where I put my Norton Security, G Cloud, G Cloud Gallery, OneDrive, Dropbox, and System Doctor icons.

Obviously, it was NOT 8 wide, if there was room for all of my storage, backups and security on either side.

Do me a favor and find out HOW I can fix this, PLEASE?

I'm pretty much out of ideas, I've got a different model tablet with a different OS version, so the issue desn't appear n mine. I wonder if there's anyway to accidentally move a widget into a folder? Maybe the one you are used to is just hiding. If all else fails you can always check out third party clocks, but it wuld be cleaner to get it working right instead...

I have my clock back, and you can clearly see it is only 4 inches wide in reality.

But it won't let me put my apps on either side anymore, not since it disappeared and I put it back with "billsey" help.
