We have a Acer Iconia W700, it came with Windows 8(or 8.1), and we have upgraded it to Windows 10. Recently, the system cannot reboot, it's in rebooting loop with Acer Logo.

1. Tried to boot with windows 10 recover DVD, it failed.

2. Enter BIOS, to change the BIOS mode to legacy mode and reboot.

3. Use Windows 10 Recover DVD, the Reset computer failed on "The drive of the system is locked,...."

4. Check the BIOS again, the passwords are all "Clear", don't know how to "unlock" this.

5.Back to Recovery DVD, go to command line, in diskpart, I can see the disk 0 and 4 partitions, but cannot fix the bootrec since it's GPT not MBR partition.

6. Create a Windows 10 GPT usb drive with rufus tools, but somehow the Acer Iconia W700 doesn't like it.

7. Can we just delete all GPT partitions and reinstall with MBR partition and Windows 10 on this tablet? Any risk?

Update! We found the original Acer Iconia w700 windows 8 recovery DVDs (total 5 DVDs), and then recover the system to the factory default (which is Windows 8), and then upgrade it to Windows 10 again. We'll save a system image this time once we complete the setup for the system.
