Aspire X1470 "No Service" displayed on monitor

Aspire LCD Monitor Model # KA240H Monitor Displays "No Service" at power up. Modem, Router & cable service are
all in service. Monitor is new. "No Service" display registers regardless the monitor used, even the old one. Computer is an ACER, Model # Aspire X1470. Seem, to think the problem is w/ the tower, rather than the new monitor.

can be a bad cable, so try another one or your PC graphic card gone.

IronFly, thank you. I had already tried another cable w/ no luck. The cable service provided also suggested that the PC graphic card might be the problem. I'll have it looked at. Again, thanks for your valued help.
