acer xb270h
I recently bought an acer xb270h and i cant turn on g sync, there is not option in nvidia control panel, i have tried looking everywhere but i cant find it. It says that this monitor is 144hz 1ms g sync, so i dont understand why i cant find the setting.

on nVidia control panel, under Display, G-sync setup is missing?
if you choose Change resolution, is the screen recognised with it's model name?

G sync setup is missing yes.
When I press change resolution it says acer xb270h and 1920 x 1080 and 144hz etc. It doesn't say anything about g sync though0 -

would you mind to uninstall the nvidia drivers using DDU and then re-install it?

I used the DDU to uninstall the drivers, then i used GeForce experience to install game ready driver version 376.33 and nvidia contol panel is the same as it is before, no g sync option

if you click on manage 3D settings and then scroll to Monitor technology, do you have G-Sync option?
try also to set monitor frequency to 144Hz under Display - screen resolution settings
try also to unplug and plug your display port cable with PC powered up or try another DP cable.

I tried all three of those things, there is no monitor setting under 3d settings, I have had it on 144hz the whole time and there is nothing about g sync, and changing the display port made no difference. Could you just check that my monitor is g sync compatible? its an acer xb270h bmjdprz.

You can call the Acer support service and ask if your model has g-sync or not, so you have an official confirmation.I'm not an Acer employee.0
